#WeAreBLMAFS: The BLM Alaska Fire Service Chena and Midnight Sun Hotshots finished their first day of training on Monday, April 28, 2025 with the work capacity test. To qualify as a wildland firefighters, hotshots must carry a 45 pound pack 3 miles within 45 minutes. This was after starting their 80 hours of critical training with the BLM Fitness Test.
