We spent the day up at Sue's, our wild wombat sanctuary, getting prepared for a large hay delivery. We were home a little later than usual and Pinger was so excited to see us! We raised Pinger from a tiny orphan 6 years ago. She lives out in the sanctuary but still spends most of her waking hours with us. She is one of the first wombats to come in every night. They are open and you can see the plaques falling off around the eyes. He is looking so much better and doesn’t smell as bad anymore. Well and truly on the mend.
