On Monday, King Charles traveled to Poland for Holocaust Memorial Day, which this year marks the 80 th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. Prince William and Kate Middleton will attend a remembrance service in London later today, Kensington Palace has confirmed.

King Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton are leading the royal family’s commemorations of the victims of the Holocaust on Holocaust Memorial Day.

A royal source described the visit as “particularly poignant” and said the King was paying tribute “both as man and monarch.”
