LOS ANGELES (AP) — Cooper Kupp was a driving force when the Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl to cap the 2021 season, culminating with his winning touchdown catch.

Cooper Kupp and the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Minnesota Vikings 27-9 on "Monday Night Football," advancing to the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs. Kupp helped the Rams' offense produce 292 yards and 16 first downs on 5.7 yards per play. The former Offensive Player of the Year recorded one reception and 29 yards.

Kupp, 31, is going into the second year of a three-year, $80.1 million contract. The Rams can try to lower his $29.7 million cap hit in 2025 with an extension. A trade or post-June 1 cut are the only ways they can move on without incurring more dead money than they would save.
