Last year, 66 wrestlers came to Memorial Coliseum as freshmen and left holding hardware for making the medals podium in one of the seven OSAA state tournaments. Among them were 21 who reached a state final and nine who took the first step to joining the elite four-timer club as a state champion.

There's so many storylines to keep an eye on this weekend at the boys wrestling state tournament. Here are some we'll be watching.

"I've coached him forever, and he's won a lot," East coach Rashad Riley said. "I didn't get super excited. I just wanted to make sure he did it."

On its way to a team championship repeat, Brownsburg won seven individual titles, tying the state record set in 1949.

It all comes down to the finals. Wrestlers compete for a state championship at the IHSAA boys wrestling state finals at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
