Some of America’s most iconic liquor brands are set to be removed from Canadian stores amid one of the first dominos to fall in a divisive tit-for-tat round of trade tariffs.

A day after levying steep new tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China, President Trump acknowledged what economists, members of Congress and even some of his own aides — in their previous lives — have been saying all along: Americans may find themselves paying the costs.

Liquor shelves in Canada that once held bottles of Kentucky bourbon, Jack Daniels whiskey, and Bacardi rum are now empty in response to Donald Trump's tariffs on the country. Customers have now been advised to 'Buy Canadian Instead' per a sign left on the shelves.
