HOGANSVILLE, Ga. — The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed that an EF-0 tornado touched down in Troup County during the early morning storms on Sunday, Feb. 16. According to the NWS, the tornado first touched down at 4:25 a.m. northeast of Hogansville off Highway 29, where numerous trees were snapped and uprooted.
