Northern Arizona University scientists help new NASA mission mapping water on the moon
Edwards was part of the team that pitched the Lunar Trailblazer Mission to NASA in 2019. The goal was to find projects that could provide valuable insight with a more modest budget, with many expeditions costing upward of a billion dollars. This particular project was pitched at below $100 million, Edwards said.
