Despite the recent success, Colorado has recently been hit with an NCAA infraction. According to On3, Sanders and the Buffaloes have received a recruiting violation for their involvement with four-star quarterback Julian Lewis, who committed to the program on Nov. 21 and enrolled at the university on Dec. 23.

One of the latest updates was shared on Thursday by NFL Network's Jane Slater, who revealed that, according to her sources, Sanders was met with resistance earlier this week when he reportedly had a discussion with Colorado athletic director Rick George about "additional money for NIL and his staff."
