ESPN has made a giant announcement on broadcasting plans for 'Monday Night Football' announcer Joe Buck in 2025.

A few weeks ago, (ESPN senior VP of production) Mark Gross called Buck to ask if he would do Opening Day. Buck was intrigued. When Gross said the game is at Yankee Stadium, Buck was fully sold, even though he had expressed reluctance to return to baseball — which he doesn’t follow as closely — since leaving Fox.

Joe Buck is set to call another MLB game, and the legendary announcer has some excellent reasons for wanting to return to the baseball booth. ESPN
