Federal authorities are warning Americans about a potential foreign scammer or group of scammers who are posing as prosecutors or federal law enforcement officers. The FBI Field Office in Atlanta said in a release that suspects are contacting American citizens and attempting to defraud them by claiming they are potential victims or suspects in a fraud investigation.
