Beginning and intermediate ukulele classes will be offered starting in October at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St. Weekly group lessons will teach strumming, chord formation and simple songs.

Anna Uptain is offering beginner group ukulele lessons at Pellissippi State Community College campus in Blount County for ages 13 and up. The lessons will be held Sept. 7 to Oct. 12 from 6-7;30 p.m.

Lessons for adults start today. It's not too late to sign-up. Ukulele classes begin in Kamloops today. The City has it's own Ukulele Orchestra and they're offering a six-week program for beginners.
