Tyler Summitt said the Nashville bid for a WNBA expansion team, named the Tennessee Summitt, is the "perfect way" to honor Pat Summitt's legacy.

The team would be named the Tennessee Summitt in honor of the legendary Lady Vols’ head coach who won 1,098 games and eight national championships in 38 seasons at Tennessee.

Now, the owner of the NHL's Nashville Predators hopes to make the Music City the home to an expansion WNBA franchise, one that would honor the legendary coach in the process. Bill
