Scarlett Johansson is moving from acting on the big screen to becoming a national TV host. Well, sort of. On January 7, fans of the Today show learned the upcoming Jurassic World: Rebirth star will be a celebrity guest co-host for the series' new fourth hour show,

Beginning Jan. 10, Craig Melvin will replace Kotb to co-anchor the 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. slot of “Today” alongside Savannah Guthrie. Melvin, who has been at NBC News for over a decade, currently co-anchors the 9 a.m. hour.

As viewers await the return of “ The Morning Show ,” an Apple TV+ drama at least partly inspired by NBC’s “Today” show, Scarlett Johansson is poised to serve as guest cohost on the actual “Today” show for a week, starting Jan. 21.
