Addressing the Jimmy Butler situation for the first time since the forward was traded to the Warriors, Pat Riley said that he wishes Butler well. He also said he expects the Heat to make roster changes in the offseason.

Butler played three games after that suspension ended before receiving a two-game ban after missing the Heat's team flight for a road game in Milwaukee on Jan. 23. They followed that up by suspending him for a minimum of five games for walking out of a team practice.

Riley told Butler to keep his mouth shut after the injured star had stated that the Heat would have beaten the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks in the playoffs. Things then took a turn for the worse after Riley refused to give Butler an extension in the offseason.
